Commission Terms

Commissions can be ordered via Discord (@bloomrook) or via email (bloomrook_art@yahoo.com)

ORDERING

Please include a brief description of the commission type you are requesting. I will request additional information based on the commission type. Reference images are preferred. You will receive previews of the image as it progresses and you can request changes if needed.

• A rough sketch

• A rough layout of colors

• Lined image

• Final image

When the image is completed and the payment has been received I will send you the full resolution image. If the payment isn't complete before I finish the commission I will send you cropped detail shots of the finished piece.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

• Prices are in United States Dollars (USD).

• Payment will be made via Paypal through their invoicing service; I will need your email address in order to invoice you.

• When making your payment, choose "Goods and Services". The transaction fee is included in the commission price. Payments made via "Friends and Family" will be refunded in full, and your commission will not be considered paid for.

• Payment is accepted up front, or at the halfway mark. The full-resolution image will not be available until payment has been made in full. Payment plans can be discussed for orders over $300.00.

• Should you wish to cancel your commission, a full refund is available if I am still in the sketching phase. Partial refunds are available after this phase is complete. If the commission has progressed and no payment has been received, and you wish to cancel the commission, you will still be financially responsible for the work that has been done. Failing to pay for a commission will result in being blacklisted.

• Large orders are eligible for discounts.

TIMELINE

Commission work begins upon order detail confirmation. In general, my timeline for commissions is less than one month. If your commission is delayed for any reason, I will notify you immediately and do my best to provide an updated completion timeline. 

OTHER

• A commission can be put on hold if needed. I will not continue to work on held commissions until I am advised I can continue.

• Please reach out to me if you do not see a commission type listed that you would like. I am happy to quote for specialized pieces.

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

• Do not redistribute, reproduce, or otherwise use any parts of the image for personal profit (i.e. selling it in any form whether digitally or physically) - with the exception of work specifically commissioned, and given specific consent, for commercial use.

• Personal use of the image is allowed, i.e. desktop image, sharing with friends, etc.  

• The artwork remains copyright to myself (BloomRook), even if the image includes a character you do not own/no longer own. You may not claim the artwork as your own. Original characters will still hold the copyright of the original creator/owner.

• I reserve the right to refuse your commission for any reason.

• I reserve the right to use any art created in personal portfolios, or as advertising material. I agree not to create prints or other merchandise using commissioned materials.

I WILL NOT DRAW

• Sexual or erotic themes. Artistic nudity and mild suggestive themes are agreeable.

• Excessive violence/gore. Blood and bruises/wounds are agreeable within reason.

• Racist, hateful, bigoted or insulting imagery.

• Fandom characters in general.
